Ideal candidates bring expertise in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and driving data-informed interventions. Your primary focus will include supporting students with behavioral and social-emotional needs, partnering closely with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to foster positive outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Current Kansas State Teaching License with appropriate endorsement
- Experience as a Behavioral Specialist, BCBA, or similar school-based role preferred
- Prior work with FBAs, BIPs, and evidence-based behavioral interventions
- Strong skills in collaboration, crisis intervention, and staff training
- A license in school psychology, social work, or school counseling is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough FBAs and collaboratively develop BIPs for K-12 students
- Deliver hands-on behavioral coaching and training for staff
- Implement data-driven strategies tailored to individual and group needs
- Assist with crisis intervention and ensure the consistent use of best practices
