Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching license
  • Experience with intensive behavioral supports or Life Skills education preferred
  • Passion for supporting students with significant intellectual and behavioral needs
  • Ability to lead, supervise, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Current resume, valid teaching licensure, and references required for interview consideration

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction and highly individualized educational programming in a self-contained classroom
  • Provide continuous supervision and behavioral support for students with complex needs
  • Lead and supervise classroom staff (minimum of two adults per classroom)
  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration with families and other professionals
  • Support positive student outcomes through coordination of programming and supports
