Special Education Teacher - Evans, GA
Shape the future of education as an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Teacher supporting students in a dynamic onsite environment for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers full-time hours (37.5 per week, Monday through Friday) across both elementary and middle school settings. You'll be an essential part of a dedicated team, delivering specialized instruction, collaborating closely with general education staff, and ensuring that every student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is implemented thoughtfully and thoroughly.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid and active Georgia Special Education (SPED) licensure/certification (documentation required upon submission).
- Prior experience in a school-based special education environment highly preferred.
- Expertise in working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively and maintain thorough documentation.
- Strong collaborative skills to work seamlessly with teachers, support staff, and families.
- Full-time, on-site availability for the entirety of the school year.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction tailored toward students with ASD on a daily basis.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with all state and federal regulations.
