Position Overview
- School year: August 24, 2026 – May 21, 2027
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Single-site placement at an elementary school
- Engage with a diverse K–12 caseload
- Conduct interviews remotely via Zoom
Key Qualifications
- Holds valid Missouri Special Education teaching certification
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder programs highly valued
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting and all compliance requirements
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to individualized, student-centered instruction
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor effective autism-specific programming and IEPs
- Regularly collect, analyze, and utilize data to inform instructional strategies
- Maintain accurate records of programming and student progress
- Utilize assistive technology and communication devices to support student learning
