Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with district and state guidelines for students in the RSP program
- Adapt curriculum and instructional techniques based on student needs and assessment data
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and compliance with IDEA regulations
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment to encourage academic and social growth
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, related service providers, and families
- Participate in staff meetings, IEP meetings, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
- Active California Special Education Teaching Credential, or Mild to Moderate credential (required)
- Experience working with RSP caseloads is ideal
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt instruction and resolve challenges creatively
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical practices
This assignment begins as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the school year. The schedule offers 35–37.5 hours per week, providing consistency and work-life balance. Compensation for this position is between $45 and $55 per hour, reflecting dedication and specialized skill.
