Bilingual Special Education Teacher | Freehold, New Jersey

Your expertise will be pivotal as you conduct evaluations in-person, working closely with a varied caseload of students. If your strengths include administering assessments, collaborating with other professionals, and communicating findings with empathy and clarity—especially in both Spanish and English—you’ll make a tremendous impact in this vital role.
What we’re seeking:
- Current and active LDTC licensure specific to New Jersey standards.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate fluently in both languages.
- Experience as a special education teacher and/or working with students presenting learning disabilities.
- Strong background in educational assessments and psycho-educational evaluations, ideally within K-12 settings.
- Deep understanding of IEP processes, eligibility criteria, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive in-person evaluations to identify and support the needs of K-12 students (evals-only role).
- Interpret assessment data, prepare timely written reports, and present recommendations that support student growth.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with students, families, and colleagues, ensuring clear understanding of findings and suggested interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines.
