Special Education Teacher | Fremont, California
Bring your expertise as a Special Education Teacher to a supportive educational environment and help shape an inclusive learning experience for elementary students. This contract role focuses on working with a small caseload of K-6 learners, providing tailored support and instruction in a collaborative setting.
Candidates must be equipped with a current California Education Specialist License, ready to start on June 15, 2026, and continue through July 10, 2026. You’ll work 20 hours across 5 days per week, managing a manageable caseload of four to six students, allowing you to make a meaningful difference through individualized attention and instruction.
Qualifications:
- Active California Education Specialist License required
- Proven experience supporting K-6 students in both resource and inclusion settings
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Passion for fostering student growth and teamwork among school staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, personalized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Adapt curriculum and teaching approaches to accommodate IEP goals and learning styles
- Collaborate with support staff, general education teachers, and families
- Track progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Create a nurturing, structured classroom atmosphere that values each learner
This position offers highly competitive compensation, with pay ranging from $40-48 per hour.
