Make an impact as an intervention specialist supporting secondary students in a vibrant educational setting. This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated educator to work part-time—at least three days a week (21 hours total)—within an engaging, supportive environment focused on student growth. The role covers a 7th–12th grade caseload and allows you to specialize in delivering impactful educational interventions.
Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, allowing for a balanced and flexible part-time schedule. You'll have the autonomy to provide specially designed instruction and develop instructional supports, while not being responsible for IEP writing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to middle and high school learners’ unique needs
- Monitor student progress regularly and communicate findings to the educational team
- Implement instructional trials and strategies that promote student success
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure an inclusive and effective learning environment
- Contribute to a culture of encouragement, growth, and achievement for all students
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License required
- Experience working with middle and/or high school students is preferred
- Ability to develop creative instructional strategies and provide differentiated supports
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
