Qualifications:
- Current Tennessee 461 Certification is required
- Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, especially in moderate to severe classrooms

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to fostering inclusion and advocating for student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute individualized lesson plans tailored to students’ unique learning requirements
- Deliver instruction and support within a comprehensive development classroom
- Monitor and document student progress, modifying approaches as needed to ensure academic and developmental growth
- Collaborate with related service providers, general education teachers, and administrators
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide progress updates and support
- Create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment conducive to growth for every learner
