Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid Arizona Secondary Teaching License
- Current Special Education (SPED) teaching certification for Arizona schools
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
- Proven background teaching Math within a special education setting
- Ability to work full-time onsite throughout the contract term
- Collaborative, student-focused approach and strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Co-teach Math classes alongside General Education and Special Education staff
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individual learning needs and IEP goals
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
- Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback and adjustments as necessary
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, contributing insights to support each learner
- Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and families regarding student achievement
