Special Education Teacher - Portland, OR

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement personalized lesson plans that address the unique learning requirements of each student.
- Take the lead in planning, conducting, and documenting IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings; update IEPs regularly to reflect students’ progress and goals.
- Work closely with fellow educators, staff, and families to ensure every child’s needs are met and that classrooms are positive and welcoming.
- Track student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary to help each child succeed.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Indiana Certification in Special Education.
- Ability to work on-site in the Portland, OR vicinity.
- Previous experience in a school setting or special education environment is highly valued.
