Work a consistent schedule from 8:45am to 4:15pm, totaling 37.5 hours weekly. This role involves push-in support within general education classrooms, as well as providing pull-out services tailored to individual student needs and IEP mandates. Manage a caseload of up to 14 students, taking responsibility for case management, writing and updating IEPs, monitoring progress, and participating in meetings to ensure every student receives the support they require.
Desired qualifications and skills:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience with IEP development, implementation, and case management
- Proficiency in collaborating with general education staff for inclusive instruction
- Ability to provide both push-in and pull-out services aligned with student needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dedication to progress monitoring and data-driven decision making
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver instructional and behavioral support within the general education setting
- Offer targeted interventions and pull-out instruction per IEPs
- Write and maintain all required IEPs and related documentation
- Track and report on student progress toward goals
- Coordinate and attend required meetings, fostering open collaboration
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
This W2 contract position offers a competitive hourly rate of $31-34, along with healthcare benefits and access to a 401k plan.
