Qualifications:
- State of South Carolina Special Education Teacher Certification: Multi-categorical (PK–Grade 12), or eligibility to obtain
- Experience developing, implementing, and tracking IEP goals and accommodations
- Ability and commitment to work in person, onsite, following the school day and year calendar
- Skilled at collaborating with education professionals and families to support student success
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, tailored instruction to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Develop and maintain IEPs, ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines
- Track student progress and adjust goals to meet evolving needs
- Communicate with guardians, service providers, and instructional staff to maximize student outcomes
- Manage classroom routines and behaviors with a supportive, positive approach
- Maintain accurate records and participate in required meetings and professional development sessions
This position offers immediate start dates and a 37.5 hour, five-day work week aligned with the school calendar. Compensation is determined by experience and will be discussed ahead of your interview.
