Major Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction in resource and self-contained classrooms (K-12)
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to diverse student needs
- Collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and support personnel
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for life skills, autism, medically fragile, and behavioral support students
- Monitor progress and document outcomes per district guidelines
Required Skills & Experience:
- Active Kansas Special Education Teacher licensure (must provide copy when applying)
- Experience working with life skills, SLC, autism, or medically fragile students preferred
