About the Role:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a PK–5 behavioral classroom. This role focuses on working with students exhibiting moderate behavioral needs in a structured and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction to students with moderate behavioral needs
Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Implement behavior intervention strategies and support plans
Collaborate with general education staff, support teams, and families
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
Position Details:
Full-time: 32 hours per week
4-day school week (great work-life balance)
Caseload: TBD
Grade levels: PK–5
Onsite position
Qualifications:
Active Special Education Teaching License required
Experience working with behavioral populations preferred
Strong knowledge of IEP development and behavior management strategies
