What We’re Seeking:
- Valid and active Kansas teaching license in Special Education (must be submitted upon presentation)
- Background working with students in K-12 settings, in either resource or self-contained classrooms
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, families, and school staff
- Adaptability in supporting caseloads ranging from 8 to 18 students
- Passion for fostering inclusive, safe, and positive classroom environments
Your Primary Duties:
- Develop and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in line with district standards
- Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to students’ unique abilities and needs
- Work closely with multidisciplinary team members, support staff, and families
- Track and report on student progress, setting and revising goals proactively
- Contribute to a culture of respect, encouragement, and high expectations for all learners
