Special Education Teacher - Leominster, Massachusetts

What You’ll Need:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher licensure
- Experience working in a school setting, preferably with middle school students
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and implementation
- Ability to collaborate with general and special education staff, counselors, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Your Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead instructor within the TLC program, building effective instructional plans tailored to students’ specific needs
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop, adapt, and monitor IEPs
- Engage in regular communication with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress and goals
- Implement evidence-based teaching strategies and accommodations
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
