- Supervising paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom and fostering teamwork

- Promoting communication, self-regulation, social, and adaptive functioning skills
- Maintaining a structured, safe, and stimulating classroom environment tailored to the needs of students with autism

- An active (or eligible) Virginia Special Education Teaching License
