Required Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with K-2nd grade students, preferably in a school setting
- Strong understanding of individualized education program (IEP) development and implementation

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement meaningful, differentiated instruction tailored to students’ unique learning needs
- Develop, update, and monitor IEPs to ensure compliance and student growth
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and specialists to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and proactive classroom environment
- Regularly assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Communicate consistently with families about student progress and strategies for support at home
- Participate in professional development and departmental meetings
