Elementary Special Education Teacher in Manteca, CA

Key Qualifications:
- Valid California CTC credential required
- Experience teaching students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Strong background in elementary education
- Ability to manage and individualize instruction for a caseload of approximately 28 students
- Commitment to fostering student engagement, growth, and achievement
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized education services in a resource classroom for elementary students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Adapt and modify curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote student success
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student development
