Special Education Teacher - Mariposa, California

Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility) for K-12th grade
- Knowledge of K-12 special education instructional strategies and IEP development
- Experience working with diverse learners and implementing accommodations or modifications
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction aligned with students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Build positive relationships and supportive classroom environments
- Collaborate with general educators, school staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and consultations as needed
