Key Qualifications:
- Valid CTC Certification in Mild/Moderate Special Education (required)
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary school-aged children
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction
- Positive, patient, and adaptable demeanor
- Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
Core Responsibilities:
- Guide and teach students with mild to moderate disabilities within an inclusive elementary school setting
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Work closely with general education teachers to adapt lessons and support an inclusive environment
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Communicate regularly with families to share progress and address concerns
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and training sessions as required
