Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification in Special Education (or eligibility in Wisconsin)
- Prior experience with middle school students preferred
- Strong skills in developing, updating, and implementing IEPs, with a few currently due
- Ability to adapt instruction across disability areas and learning styles
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
What You’ll Do:
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction to meet diverse learning goals
- Develop and update IEPs, progress-monitoring, and documentation in compliance with guidelines
- Partner with core teachers, aides, and your team of eight special educators for effective inclusion and support
- Foster a safe and welcoming environment for students with varying needs
- Participate in parent meetings, team planning, and ongoing student assessment
- Deliver engaging lesson plans that accommodate a cross-categorical caseload
