- Strong communication and collaborative skills for working alongside staff, parents, and related service professionals.
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Previous high school special education experience preferred but not required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement instructional plans for students with diverse learning needs.
- Modify lessons to maximize student participation and progress toward IEP goals.
- Utilize a range of strategies and assistive technologies to facilitate learning and independence.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and paraprofessionals to promote student achievement.
- Engage in ongoing parent and team communication to track and support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP development, meetings, and evaluations.
