Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Credential
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Experience or strong interest in dual immersion or bilingual education programs
- Ability to develop and implement differentiated instruction tailored to various learning styles
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Collaborative approach to working with colleagues, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction for students with varying needs in both English and Spanish
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress toward goals
- Deliver culturally relevant lessons and foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, administrators, and parents
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance regulations
