Special Education Teacher - Santa Clara, California

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching credential in Special Education
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
- Experience in or strong interest in dual language/dual immersion programs
- Understanding of IEPs, differentiation, and culturally responsive teaching
- Flexibility, collaboration, and strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and provide specialized instruction tailored to student needs, primarily within a dual immersion framework
- Lead engaging lessons in Spanish for half of the day, supporting language acquisition alongside core subjects
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to create effective learning plans
- Adapt instructional materials and strategies to accommodate all learners
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and related documentation
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally rich classroom environment
