Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification meeting all applicable state requirements
- Experience supporting students with diverse needs in a school setting
- Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs, accommodations, and interventions
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with co-teachers, support staff, and families
- Demonstrated ability to provide direct instruction, behavioral support, and progress monitoring
- Comfortable working in-person and embracing hands-on engagement with students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct special education services to students on your caseload
- Manage IEP compliance, documentation, and student progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and remote case coordinators (for Position 2)
- Participate actively in team meetings, parent conferences, and ARD/IEP sessions
- Adapt instructional practices to meet diverse learning needs
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
- Handle case management duties, including scheduling and service coordination (for Positions 1 and 3)
