Preferred Background and Qualifications:
- Current Texas Special Education K-12 Certification is required
- Proven experience as an ARD Facilitator in a school setting
- In-depth understanding of special education law, IEP development, and ARD procedures
- Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to build rapport with diverse teams, families, and stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate ARD meetings, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate closely with teachers, service providers, and families to develop and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to ARD/IEP processes
- Provide support, guidance, and expertise to staff regarding best practices in special education service delivery
- Serve as a liaison between school, families, and external partners to promote student success
