Special Education Teacher - New Braunfels, Texas

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification required
- Prior experience as an ARD Facilitator and Special Education Teacher strongly preferred
- Strong foundational knowledge of special education law, ARD/IEP processes, and documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a junior high caseload
- Collaborative mindset—ready to work closely with teachers, families, and support staff
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet strict deadlines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitate ARD meetings in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Serve as a point of contact for parents and staff regarding ARD/IEP matters
- Work with the multidisciplinary team to craft and monitor individualized education plans
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social success within an inclusive environment
- Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary documentation
- Provide guidance and training for staff on special education best practices
