Position Highlights:
- Immediate start, with a contract running through January
- School hours are 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM
- Self-contained classroom of six students
- Focus on individualized, student-centered learning plans
Qualifications:
- Active Special Education Teacher license for the appropriate grade level
- Previous experience with self-contained or similar special education classrooms preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for empowering students with varying learning challenges
- Ability to adapt lessons and strategies to meet diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for assigned students
- Deliver differentiated instruction and academic support
- Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
