Elementary Kindergarten Special Education Teacher | New Haven, Connecticut

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification for K-4 (all certifications for K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade are welcome)
- Previous experience teaching in elementary or kindergarten settings preferred
- Strong skills in developing and implementing IEPs
- Ability to provide supportive instruction through push-in and pull-out models
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and team members
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver differentiated lessons to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Manage caseloads, maintain accurate documentation, and monitor student progress
- Adapt instructional methods based on individual IEP goals
