This full-time, contract position offers an opportunity to support middle and high school students with mild to moderate needs, ensuring every learner receives the individualized support they deserve.
Position Highlights:
- Contract runs from August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Schedule: 7:15 am – 3:15 pm
- Manage a caseload of 12 students in a self-contained setting
- Middle school assignment with a focus on intensive needs
- High school EC self-contained classrooms and inclusion roles available
- Inclusion teacher caseloads up to 35–40 students; English background preferred but not required
- Additional responsibilities supporting a small group (grades 6–8) in a STEM school setting
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
Desired Experience & Skills:
- Comfortable addressing a range of academic, behavioral, and learning needs in a resource or self-contained classroom
- Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues, related service providers, and families to promote student progress
- Skilled at implementing IEPs and differentiated instruction tailored to individual needs
- Exceptional classroom management and organizational skills
- Experience with inclusive practices and willingness to support diverse learners
- Adaptability and a commitment to ongoing professional growth
