Key Qualifications:
- Current Vermont Special Educator licensure
- Documented experience managing virtual special education caseloads in Vermont
- Strong background in case management, IEP compliance, and direct coordination
- Demonstrated skills writing compliant IEPs and conducting timely meetings
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven record working effectively in small, dedicated multidisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to monitor and track multiple student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary case manager and coordinator for a caseload of 45 high school students
- Lead IEP meetings, evaluations, and re-evaluations, ensuring all processes are compliant and timely
- Write and maintain IEPs, track progress, and uphold rigorous standards for documentation
- Facilitate regular collaboration with teachers, service providers, and related staff
- Maintain consistent weekly communication with staff and families to discuss progress, goals, and concerns
- Analyze academic and behavioral data to support individualized planning and goal-setting
- Ensure accommodations and modifications are implemented and consistently supported for each student
