Desired Qualifications:
- Current and active Wisconsin Special Education teaching license (SPED)
- Experience working in an elementary school setting
- Background or expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Demonstrated experience in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) support and intervention
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students in the ASD classroom
- Integrate ABA strategies within daily classroom instruction and behavior management
- Foster a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment tailored to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success and growth
- Monitor and assess student progress, modifying strategies as necessary to promote development
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to state and district special education requirements
