Special Education Teacher - Olathe, Kansas

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current and active Kansas Low Incidence Special Education License
- Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to supporting inclusive educational practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with low incidence needs within the LIFT Program
- Manage a caseload of eight elementary-aged students, adapting curriculum and interventions to support each learner
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive support
