Spanish Special Education Teacher in Orland Park, IL

This full-time, on-site contract position spans the 2026–2027 academic year and calls for an educator fluent in both English and Spanish, ready to make a positive difference in a junior high environment. With class sizes of 20 or fewer students, you’ll have the unique chance to provide individualized support and build lasting relationships with learners.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Special Education Teacher licensure (required)
- Proven experience working with junior high or high school students in a classroom setting
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Demonstrated career consistency in educational roles
- A student-centered, flexible teaching philosophy, prioritizing student growth and engagement over rigid curriculum delivery
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to maximize the success of each student
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity and builds confidence
