Special Education Teacher | Osseo, Minnesota

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (active and in good standing)
- ASD endorsement highly preferred for assignment at the Transition Center
- Prior school-based experience is preferred and will set you up for success
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to individualized instruction
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and support to students with special needs in alignment with their IEPs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support personnel, and families to promote student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, data collection, and progress monitoring
- Create an inclusive, engaging, and safe classroom environment
- Adapt lesson plans and teaching methodologies to meet the unique needs of each student
