- Ability to build supportive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Comfort working onsite throughout the school year contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students in resource classrooms
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adapting strategies as needed
- Advocate for the needs and abilities of each student in both classroom and school settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusion
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and family conferences
- Foster a safe, respectful, and positive classroom environment
