Step into a rewarding contract role providing specialized educational services for TK-6th grade students. This position, located in Riverside, CA, spans approximately three months to cover a maternity leave and may extend through the end of the school year. You'll support a caseload of 27 students, delivering Resource Specialist Program (RSP) services and making a meaningful impact on their educational journeys.
Qualifications:
- Valid CTC Certification in Mild to Moderate Special Education (required)
- Previous experience delivering RSP services to elementary-aged students preferred
- Demonstrated ability to adapt instructional strategies for diverse learning needs
- Strong organizational skills to efficiently manage caseload documentation and IEP processes
- Exceptional communication skills with students, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students TK-6th grade, ensuring individualized education plans (IEPs) are implemented with fidelity
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student goals and progress
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, assessments, and necessary compliance paperwork
- Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment where all students can thrive
- Participate in IEP meetings, delivering insights on student needs and adapting plans as necessary
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development with targeted interventions
