You’ll play a crucial part in guiding a caseload of 15-20 students across grades 6-12, collaborating with educators and families to help learners thrive.
Skills and Experience Sought:
- Current Arizona State certification in Special Education is required
- Background in Special Education, ESL instruction, or working as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) preferred
- Experience with middle and high school students (grades 6-12)
- Proficiency in progress monitoring and implementing IEP-driven learning strategies
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to participate in IEP meetings and provide detailed, data-supported updates
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Specifically Designed Instruction based on individual IEP goals
- Collect and analyze progress monitoring data to support each student’s development
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, specialists, and caregivers to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in early morning or late afternoon IEP meetings as needed
