Blazer Jobs is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support students throughout the Phoenix, Arizona area during the 2026–2027 school year.
We partner with educators to connect them with meaningful school-based opportunities while providing the support needed throughout their assignment. Pay starts at $40/hour for new graduates and increases based on experience, certification, and flexibility.
Position Responsibilities
As a Special Education Teacher, you will:
Provide individualized instruction based on student needs and IEP goals.
Develop lesson plans and instructional strategies.
Evaluate student progress and maintain documentation.
Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and service providers.
Participate in IEP meetings and student support planning.
Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Implement effective classroom and behavioral strategies.
Support student growth academically and socially.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
Valid Arizona Special Education teaching certification
Ability to complete district requirements
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous special education teaching experience
IEP development experience
Experience working with diverse student populations
School-based classroom experience
