- Prior experience in a school setting with special education students is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and support to students with disabilities as outlined in their IEPs
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet each student's unique needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
- Utilize bilingual communication to connect with students and families, promoting stronger engagement and understanding
