Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid state certification in Special Education
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting, preferably with strong skills in individualized instruction
- Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching methods to varied learning abilities
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, families, and support personnel
- Knowledge of special education laws and documentation requirements
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction based on individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet academic, social, and behavioral goals
- Collaborate with other teachers, school professionals, and parents to coordinate support
- Maintain accurate student records, IEPs, and progress reports in compliance with regulations
- Manage classroom activities and provide a safe, structured learning atmosphere
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
