Position Details

- Manage and support a caseload of elementary-aged students with varying educational needs
- Collaborate with related service providers, support staff, families, and administration

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide specialized instruction tailored to students' unique academic and behavioral needs
- Create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
- Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to support student learning
- Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress toward IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field
- Active Missouri Special Education teaching certification or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong classroom management and behavior intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs
