- Elementary Developmental: Foster growth in classrooms of 15 students (Behavior, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Communication needs), supported by six instructional assistants.
- Elementary Behavior: Empower learners in grades 3-5, in a classroom of 16 students, with five assistants.
- Middle School Resource: Support a caseload of 40 students across various needs, collaborating with two shared assistants.
- Elementary Resource: Serve two welcoming sites (just two miles apart), working with 35 students total and an assistant at each location.
- Middle School Behavior: Guide a team of 15 students alongside five supportive assistants.
Qualifications/Desired Background:
- Current and active Special Education certification/license in Oregon
- Experience (or strong interest) in supporting students with developmental, behavioral, ASD, and communication needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning profiles
- Professional references from your most recent supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction tailored to student IEPs
- Develop effective behavior management strategies and functional classroom routines
- Partner closely with assistants, related service providers, and faculty
- Regularly track and communicate student progress to families and team members
- Create welcoming, supportive classrooms where every learner thrives
