Special Education Teacher in Silverton, OR

Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon Special Education teaching license/certification, required
- Experience supporting students with behavioral, ASD, or communication needs is highly desirable
- Ability to collaborate effectively with assistants and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to student-centered, inclusive teaching practices
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Reference contact for your most recent supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student
- Foster a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
- Lead and guide a team of dedicated paraprofessionals/assistants
- Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure student progress
