Ideal candidates bring experience working specifically with dyslexic students and are ready to take on a critical role as a Dyslexia Case Manager within a supportive department. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to provide targeted instructional strategies and manage individualized education plans for students requiring specialized support.
Qualifications:
- Valid EC-4 or EC-6 certification required (EC-12 considered for strong candidates)
- Previous experience as a Dyslexia teacher, with a deep understanding of dyslexia interventions and best practices
- Proven ability to manage caseloads and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills for case management and collaboration
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, positive classroom environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to elementary students with diverse learning needs—particularly those with dyslexia
- Manage a caseload and serve as a Dyslexia Case Manager for identified students
- Develop and implement IEPs and monitor progress
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to regulatory guidelines
- Participate in professional development as required
Position Details:
- Two full-time and two part-time (4-hour days, five days/week) positions available
- Roles begin in August to align with the school calendar
