We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive classroom environment with para support while making a meaningful impact on students with diverse learning needs.
Position Overview
The Special Education Teacher will manage a moderate classroom consisting of students with a variety of disabilities. The role includes providing individualized and small-group instruction, supporting student growth, and working collaboratively with support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct instruction to students in a moderate classroom
- Manage and support a classroom of up to 10 students
- Collaborate with paraprofessional support staff
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans
- Monitor and track student progress
- Adapt instruction to meet diverse academic and behavioral needs
- Foster a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
