Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid Wisconsin cross-categorical special education teaching license
- Experience working with young learners in a K–2 setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and the ability to implement individualized instructional strategies
- Compassionate educator committed to student growth and inclusion
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to meet diverse learning needs in a cross-categorical classroom
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Modify curriculum and adapt lessons to support both academic and functional skill development
- Foster a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with related service providers and general education staff
- Maintain documentation and participate in meetings to track and review student progress
