What We’re Looking For:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Knowledge of current special education laws, best practices, and IEP development
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting a range of learning abilities and styles
- Must be available for on-site instruction (not a remote/voco position)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver effective and differentiated instruction to meet each student’s unique needs
- Support inclusion within general education classrooms and provide specialized interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance documentation
- Engage positively with families, support staff, and related service providers
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school initiatives
